Who I am
About Me
With a solid foundation established through a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Viterbo College in 1998, I've continually expanded my expertise to better serve those in need. My dedication led me to achieve certification as a Lymphedema Therapist in 2018, specializing in upper extremity care. Building on this, my commitment to excellence drove me to pursue further specialization as a Certified Breast Care Nurse in 2022. These certifications, coupled with membership in esteemed organizations like the Oncology Nursing Society and the Denver Oncology Nursing Society, reflect my dedication to providing comprehensive, compassionate care. At Beacon RN, I leverage this extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to guide individuals through the intricate journey of breast cancer, offering personalized support, education, and advocacy for each individual and their families.
Inclusivity
At Beacon RN, inclusivity is at the heart of our care. I proudly stand as an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-friendly practice, committed to providing a safe, supportive, and discrimination-free space for all individuals navigating the complexities of breast cancer care. I understand the systemic barriers and discrimination prevalent within the medical system and are dedicated to breaking down these barriers. My goal is to empower and advocate for every client, ensuring they receive the respect, understanding, and personalized care they deserve. With a focus on fostering trust, accessibility, and support, I’m here to navigate the intricacies of breast cancer care while championing inclusivity and equity for all.
